    Thermostat wiring confusion

    Hi, I am changing my old Timeguard TRT030 stat to a Honeywell THR870CUK programmable stat. The problem is that the old stat appears to be 3 wires plus earth and the new stat is 2 wire, plz see enclosed pics, the wiring drawing is for the new Honeywell stat, can anyone explain with wires go where...
