105HE pressure swtch problem.

Went to a mates house yesterday who had no heat/water.
Boiler goes thro' sequence, fan starts then nothing.
Fan icon on display flashes.
Followed fault finding say's to replace PS which I have. Still nothing. :angry_smile:
But on removing the - tube from the flue assembly she fires.
Put the tube back and out she goes.?????

Anybody???? No. Not anybody. A gas safe registered engineer. What you are attempting is not a d.i.y job IMHO.

Have you checked the flue seal from fan to flue?? Had one a few months ago that had rotted through, was only a steel jubilee clip type with no rubber seal in.

Neck well and truly back in! Chaco the Venturi and flue ways are clear would be the first thing to check.

Its held together with two metal bands which both look in order.
Had the fan off, all seems ok.
Just cant understand that soon as you take the negative tube off, the thing fires up.
It's as tho there's + pressure going to the PS rather than -

switch them over and check, i went to a biasi yesterday that had half the screws missing case
off and it was obvious someone had been in the pcb but the guy swore blind nobody had looked at it.

well reading this thread AND KNOWING THIS BOILER BACKWARDS if the aps has been replaced you have a venturie,fan or flue problem
