10k wages...is someone pulling my leg?

Might be a stupid question but is it possible?, just heard about a self employed guy working in London, he's apparently working 7 days a week and bringing back about 10k before tax, is it even possible, i am going to be put in touch with him in a few weeks to try and work with him but wondering if its probably nonsense.

Work it out for your self

£10K / wk = £520000 = low paid city

£10K / month = £120000 = average city based accountant

£10K year somebody scratching for a living
 
well my daughter
shedloads a pass gcse
5 a levels
one law degree
one year private practise course
and offered 5.80 an hour for paralegal work
so work that out

Do'nt forget this is before tax and national insurance payments,allow a bit to reclaim expenses and he is only on £6863.38 take home

I should have said it was a self employed plumber, but being a plumbing forum it was implied, but anyway 10k a month before tax?
 
Hi. Its possiable, if the work is being lined up for you. You must be at the top of the game in organisation skills, knowledge, driven by money and be a 25 and 45 year old and fit. (after about 8 years the capital is halved, when the misses does one)

its possible but youll be on your death bed before u know it. what life do you have to earn this?
eevr tried working 7 x 12 hour days? i have and after 2 weeks your done in, you would have to be greedy or stupid to do it for a year
 
Good plumbers on call out can earn this sort of money in central london firms charge 120 an hour and split it fifty fifty with you as some one else said you have to be young fit and on top of the game
they charge list price for all matierials so a lot of the money comes from matierials many have a semi skilled boy they leave on one job while they do another
they work anytime day or night and charge double after 8pm i did it for a while when i was young and hungry
some people want jobs done at all sorts of hours i once did a thermo couple at 2 in the morning for 300 quid and this was in the eighties

How do they sleep at night? Stinks of exploitation to me.
I have no objection to someone being paid well for their skills and efforts but to pray on the vunrable like people panicking when they see a drip

This is possible, a bloke I knew who worked in IT did a 12wk 6129 cert, within 6mnths he was earning 10k a month.
