Hi All
I am a sparky so please be gentle, I want to try and hide my radiator feed pipes in my living room either burying them in the wall or behind skirting. The boiler is an old system with a header tank in the loft, so would it be ok to change the pipework down to 10mm just for the two rads in the living room or would this cause any problems to the rest of the system.
Many thanks .

you will probably need to re balance the system, or the rads with the smaller pipes might not work as before.

What is it with sparkys need to hide stuff? Lol

It's a radiator, ppl expect pipes to be there.

Gd luck though

Its not the sparky its the sparky's wife, she who must be obeyed wants the pipes hidden so I must do as I am told.

Do as much as you can in 15mm, with just the last part in 10mm.

You can also purchase 12mm pipe in soft copper, but the fittings can be harder to get hold of.
