Evening guys, Currently doing a renovation on a 1920’s house. We have an existing RWP going down into a gulley at the moment which is connected to the main Sewer. This needs to be changed or run alongside a new SVP to cater for a new Ensuite bathroom.

Been trying to do some research about whether or not I can just use one SVP and drop RWP into top of it which will then act as a vent too.

Or do I need to run RWP alongside SVP and keep them separate. Opinions and answers welcome cheers

Sounds like you have combined drainage needs gulley to take rain water pipe then soil and vent pipe .
Vent pipe needs to terminate 1 mt above highest opening (window air vent ect) within 3 mts of soul pipe.
Do not put rwp into soil pipe!
Don't forget to provide rodding access for new drains.
