Hi new to the forum,, i am not a plumber nor am i trading as one,, just after some advice,, in my house i have two radiators that are stone cold, i have bled them, removed them "flushed" them,, just by putting a garden hose in one end ...(not whilst on the wall ).. and now they work!! for about 15 mins there blazing hot however, after this they just go back to being cold again??

does anyone know what it could be?? british gas said i need new radiators? (this is what made me flush them)

help much appreciated!

Could of just been an air lock.

Could of been a stuck trv pin

Could of been full of crud

Could of been turned off on lock shield

I called a local plumber and he advised me to turn off all the upstairs radiators and that seems to have done the trick..all is up and running ..thanks guys

Bet hes turned all the TRV's off. Once they want the upstairs radiators on it will resume what its been doing.
Sounds like ur system needs properly balancing
