Hi all,

We have just had an extension built which will have a new 938 Vaillant combi boiler for CH and hot water.

This will replace a Baxi back boiler in the existing part of the house.

We are installing a new central heating system in the older part of downstairs and throughout the upstairs (the downstairs in the new extension will have underfloor heating).

Building regs state there must be two zones and rads must have TRV's.

Can anyone recommend a good package that includes the zone valves and room stats ?

The ones I've seen all seem to include a cylinder stat that we won't need.

The new boiler will be in a purpose built utility room. Would you normally install the tee to the two zones at the end of the copper coming off the boiler and then install the two zone valves immediately after the tee?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you've chosen your system. An unvented cylinder would be the preferred option in my opinion. Your local merchant should be able to help you on the controls side if you choose to go with the 937.
