Hi,
Just fitted a new diverter diaphragm to my old boiler. I can only get medium temperature hot water(48c) with
tap fully open, control to maximum pos.4.(been a lot hotter). Re checked to make sure that I fitted diaphragm right way round I.E both springs together.checked high limit stat not cutting out. hw thermistor about 9.500ohms room temp.1.800ohms hot. c.h stat 9.170 ohms, Gas valve reg 18.0ohms, coils 82.0 & 83.ohms. Checked with pump on 2 &3 settings. water inlet filter clear. Poured water through plate to plate water connections and flow seems ok. water restrictor in place and clear. diaphragm pin makes contact on switch soon as hot water tap is opened and stays on. Water at tap is only luke warm on lower setings,1 2 3. and burner cuts out fairly quickly but water to water exchanger seems hot. Heating side of boiler works spot on. 13.8mb steady burner pressure when hot water switched to max.mode for hot water test on rear of facia. 23 mbar standing gas pressure to boiler. very good incoming water pressure.(soft water area).
Burner pressure seems to bounce up and down when hot water turned on medium water flow rate then cuts out.
Burner flame rise and fall seems ok with hw temp control switch.

Dont just want to just be throwing parts at the boiler without justification.

Any suggestions welcome
