32mm or 1"1/4 copper fittings ?

hi all hope you`re all busy, can anyone help please.
i`ve got to remove an old back boiler and some pipe work, as far as i can make out i need to cap off some pipes which seem to be around 32mm in copper, and so i could do with some copper fittings inn this size.
if not, as the system will be empty any way would 32mm plastic stop ends be ok ?

if the system is empty why do you want to cap it??

anyway, you will need to get the right size before you can do anything.
could be 35mm copper, most likely 28mm, or imperial size.
cut a section out and take it to your local merchant,
that way you will be sure to get the correct size fitting.
