Hi There,

I have plastic microbore central heating piping, with 15 radiators around our 19 year old house, we have had issues for years with some radiators being cold, occasionally getting one of them to work, but sometimes causing another to no longer work. One plumber said, as we had an open system this was the issue and fitted a pressurised vessel, unfortunately this didn't cure the problem, the boiler was replaced a little over a year ago and the second plumber was left scratching his head at not being able to get them all working and said he thought it was sludge in the radiators, I have now replaced all the radiators in the house, put a system cleaner in for nearly a week, flushed the system and refilled it and put inhibiter in, after checking and bleeding each of the radiators and air off, I still can't get 4 of them working, 3 of them have warmth at the fitting on the flow side, but no heat in the radiators and nothing at all going to the towel rail, does anyone have any ideas please? Wondered if Danfoss RAS-B2 valves would sort out the issue? I have tried to balance manually to get them working to no avail sadly.

Thank you for taking the time to read or respond to this post, from a rapidly greying man lol.

What plastic pipe was used? Is it the old non barrier pipe? Cleaners no good if you havent had flow through those rads.
