Hi guys back with another problem in ny brothers new house.

I went there to have a look at his waste pipe thats leaking. Suprise i found a flexi from ikea which is about 65 or 60mm diamater. I am really struggling to see how i can fix this problem i was wondering if theres any thick seals that can go around the compression nut or replacing the whole thing i really need help

Thanks alot guys. Picture below

good idea indeed however how can that 65mm waste be tackled is there some sort of adapter?

also is there no other way to try and seal it?

Sounds like a job for a plumber , should only take him 1 hour ,

£50-£70 plus parts ,, depens on area ,
Some one on herd might be local ,, where are you

Strip the lot out and bin it. It connects to a std 1 1/2" pipe.
I really hate Ikea shyte
