had a call today, workers had cut through lead pipework prior to the stoptap, isolated at main stoptap, and had to go to parts centre for a 7lb leadloc.£8.00 +vat, just looked in the plumbfix catalogue £3.80.robbing b++++++S,that was meant to be a discounted price, think i will stock up for the future, anyone else had this happen?😡

parts center are the most expensive for standard items, but not to bad for boiler parts etc round here, they are the only ones up until recently.

Your plumb fix is ripping u off, I only pay £3.40 plus vat at mine lol

I bought 2 x 3 metre lengths of 42mm copper tube from pipe centre today cost me £27.66 a metre inc Vat. always the way when yer in a hurry

I didnt know that they did a 6 ib lead lock too, it fits over 6 ib lead pipe soo much more snugly than a 7 ib one😱.

Im installing a 25Kw heat pump onto a thermal store and I dont want to reduce the pipework off the heat pump until after the thermal store.
Fortunatley for me I only needed 2 lenghts this time.🙂

I use the Philmac universal couplings instead of leadlocks. They are more versatile and cheaper.
