Been asked to install an 80 lt unvented cylinder but has no tapping for T&P release valve, I am sure it should have one, it's an Ariston and there is no mention in the Mi's. Customer bought it off the web. Does it need a T&P valve ?

Yes, he will have to try and get rid to some unsuspecting muppet, perhaps someone who likes to fit them in his rentals, I mean if you can block the tun dish why would you need a t&p valve.lol

I think I read that it is mandatory for any unvented cylinders here in UK to come already fitted with the temperature and pressure relief valve.
Guess that makes a lot of sense so that the most important safety feature is already part of the unit and not some part an idiot could leave in the box.
So that unit your customer has is illegal. Tell him to sell it to rest of Europe.
