8mm R250

Gas fire manufacturers state final connection to the 8mm service valve must be by using rigid copper pipe. R250 presumably not wishing to reduce diameter when using soft copper with inserts. What is the availability of this pipe as few plumbing outlets appear to have it.

I don’t know about inserts on copper, but pipe is available, otherwise manufacturer’s wouldn’t specify it.

8mm R220 does seem to be the pipe of choice with or without inserts. Specification is actually termed as rigid, comparing R220 to flexible hose it would be rigid.
