Hi I would appreciate any advice as I am only a DIY er. I have just fitted Salamander RSP50 twin impeller pump underneath the bath. It feeds a single new Aqualisa 609 shower over the bath and is gravity fed with its own supply. Everything seems to work ok when in use, but I have a problem that the pump switches itself on around 5am when the shower is not in use. I contacted Salamander and they told me to fit a low spring non return valve on the hot flow side of the pump, which I did, but it did not cure the problem. I have not fitted a flange as I cannot be sure which pipe it should connect to at cylinder also when the Aqualisa engineer came out he told me that flanges do not work. Any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Re: New Central Heating Boiler Recommendations

You need to start a new thread on this topic instead of hijacking one about replacement central heating boilers. However if you live in a flat it sounds like a neighbour is using some of your water for free if it happens at 5am every day.

I've moved the posts to a thread on it's own.

should taht pump be fitted under the bath???

Some is obviously happening at 5am every day to cause the pump to do this if it isn't happening at any other time

Did you fit it your self then? Is the shower dripping?
