OK, just looking for a quick answer really. I just moved into a new rented house.

When I moved I got gas safety record and under defects it has listed.

Gas Meter: - No Visible Earth NCS.

Now.. does this mean that I am just a spark away from impending doom or is it a minor issue that can be fixed in good time?

your in no immeadiate danger,you appear to have no earth bonding on your gas meter. NCS means not to current standards,you need an earth bonding tag on your gas pipework within 600mm or before your tee off
