Hi guys, Fairly new to the industry. I'm doing a service for a friend of the family, I'm struggling with the gas rate. Cleaned out the heat exchanger and replaced the seal as FGA reading was above 0.004.

Comes to gas rating it, put it into service mode (hot water - combi only) Have a tap running fully open tried it three times all three readings around 32 kW, and its a 42cdi. What am I missing, or how can i sort this out?

Could be under gassed ?

What size is your carcass ?

You're needing 28mm off your meter straight asway

Could be modulating down if the flow from the tap isn't great. Also the service mode on the CDi puts the diverter to mid position, are you sure you pressed the "chimney sweep" button to put it in service mode and turned the control up to max? Check the inlet pressure at the meter and at the appliance.

Guys, apologies for wasting your time I didn't turn the control up to max :disappointed:. Thank you for replying with your advice and suggestions. Gas rate is on point now.

Read the MI's it tells you how to do the fga reading for that model as it has a chimney sweep mode or some call it analyser mode. Remember your action levels. if unsure read your viper book.

Also take down parts ppm for Co
