what is your view ? property has 15mm mains supply tested at 2pm during the week there was 18L and 2.5 bar pressure

I have never fitted a breaker tank and booster pump. I have had to fit 3 accumulators and all have given good results, but not having fitted both options I cant really give a comparison.

I have selected a 500L breaker with Monsoon Extra 3.6 bar Pressure Set - Stuart Turner Shower Pumps ,

this will boost to UHWC and then balanced hot/cold to the house ! Customer coma back and ask for accumulator but accumulators are only where there is pressure but flow is a issue .
Matt how did you size your accumulators ?

Yeah the accumulators boost flow, not pressure. You need to set the pressure of the vessel in accordance with the pressure of the cold water mains pressure as well. I sized it by calling GAH, who make the accumulators. They have a good technical department and will size it for you if you tell them how big the cylinder is and how many bathrooms etc.

There is 5 bathrooms but they only have 3 used every morning ! They would not expect to have all 5 going at the same time .
At the moment there is a twin impeller booster pump an UHWC . And pressure and flow are really really bad

They don't expect to..... Translates to they will but think u will quote less . It's got 5 bathrooms so spec it for 5 . Be a moaning phone call in 6 weeks time from custard. U can make excuses but there were 5 bathrooms when u quoted.

I will speak to the carpenter today. However, over the weekend I was reading about accumulators (clearly was having an exciting weekend )... they appear to be the thing of choice to boost mains pressure for an unvented set up. Is there any reason we couldn't have this rather than the massive tank and pump? two vertical cylinders in the garage would seem better to have standing on the garage floor. let me know what you think.
Although we have five bathrooms we only have three showers in the morning and a bath and shower in the evening. it's only when we have family to stay that the two other bathrooms are used and then it's only one of them. We always shower one at a time and not simultaneously. don't know if that information is useful but it might have some baring on what we choose.

They want two 50l water tubs and a hozelock submersible pump with a combi. ..... Why don't you get the local rep to speak to them, u just do install? Sound like they may or may not have a dishonest streek. Is there a lock out system so only one bathroom can be used at a time? Why not board off all of then but one? Use the disused rooms as water storage. Just offering a perspective from having a similar experience from a landlord who's 8 bed house we fitted out , he wanted a 40kw combi because he was only ever going to use one of the five bathrooms
