Hi Guys
Got my ACS exams starting on Monday. I feel confident and have done loadsa revision.
Anyone done it recently? If so can I expect any tough surprises?? :(:(

Did mine a couple of months back. Best advice is to take your time, your not there to prove your knowledge, only to prove your safe, if the questions are causing a little difficulty, they will point you in the right direction, as for working in the bays with gas, THINK! as thats where there more likely to determine if your dangerous of not.

If your doing HTR1 which is Gas fires and space heaters, then good luck, that question paper is a fooking nightmare!
 
As Kip says its to prove you can work safely, so take your time. Make sure you are spot on with controls (how to test/identify/how they operate), flues and ventilation.

Once you've done the core (CCN1) the appliances should be ok.
