H, I have just completed my nvq level 2 in plumbing, 2 years on day release at Leeds college of building. I want to do my acs gas asap, does anyone know what is the quickest way to do this?.

Thanks.

10 day course - then sort portfolio with registered engineer. Then you can sit you CCN1 exam. Then you can add your appliances. That's how I did it.

NVQ Lvl 3 is the long way. However if you have it, you don't need as much evidence for your portfolio. You need a portfolio of photographed gas work, which has to be verified by a independant individual. If it's accepted, you can then sit your exams.

If you are allready level 2, and want to qualify quickly. Then why go through level 3?

The 10 day course I did, was 1 day a week, and two days of exams. Hope this helps.

By the way, I have Lvl 2 NVQ.
