Adding a valved tee to existing plumbing?

I need to add a new water point for our plumbed in fridge freezer, only had one quote (based on pictures) but seems very high so just wanted to see if it's something that's pretty easy to learn andDIY or am I just missing something and should get a plumber in anyway. Trying to avoid using a self piercing saddle valve too... UK based if it makes a difference.

I purchased a kit on Amazon that came with 15M of pipe and a few connectors. From my understanding I need to just put the pipe into the 3/4 inch tap connector then screw that onto a new valved tee under the sink.

Below is a pic of under the sink at the moment (it's a bit of a state by the looks from previous owners) but it looks as though I can turn the water off, unscrew the braided tap connection from the dishwasher tee and screw it onto the new tee, then I just need a way of connecting those two tees together which I suspect is the harder part... Is there such a valved tee that will just screw the other end directly back onto the existing dishwasher one or is a new pipe in between required (which then probably exceeds my DIY skills!) ?

Perhaps something like this could work? Tap one end, dishwasher tee the other. Just screw into place? Or something like this with this connected to the kit connection mentioned above.

Just remove the washing machine hose and replace it with this. Then connect the wash mac to one and freezer to the other.
It is called a valved y splitter for washing machine.

I never thought of that! It's a dishwasher hose but I suspect that doesn't change anything. I've not removed anything yet but I'll take it off and see what's going on there!

Is it a standard 3/4" BSP fitting? Doesn't look like Screwfix etc have them valved so might have to check Amazon. Although I guess I don't need both to be valved and could just use the existing vavled one to cut off both the dishwasher and fridge. Thanks

Yes it’s 3/4”.
No, dishwasher/washing machine makes no difference.
If you don’t need separate isolation then you can get a plastic equivalent for less than £2 . Screwfix/toolstation etc etc.
I have used these, they are fine just don’t cross thread the plastic and not too tight.

I'll likely put a small isolation valve on the 1/4 fridge tubing itself just after the Y fitting but just before the water filter anyway so I can probably get by with the plastic one like you said as I'd be able to isolate just the fridge if required. Cheap as chips! Thanks, I'll have a go this weekend but saves a fair whack from getting the professional in!
