hi ive a combi system with 7 rads off it, im looking to add another rad and need advice on the process.......

turn stopcock and combi off, attatch hose to lowest rad which has drain off, start empting and bleeding rads to assist, once empty tee into nearest flow/return and run new pipework to new rad, add inhibitor to upstairs rad, start refilling checking boiler pressure and keep bleeding all rads til full and make sure boiler is 1.5 bar.

hope this makes sense....

First of all can your boiler handle another rad i.e. what is it's current rating.

You got it paul78, except no need to turn off the stopcock. Im 99% confident your current boiler will be able to handle the extra rad.

its heatline c24, think thats 24kw. i know crap boilers but iv had 4 years from it so far... touch wood!

You should be fine. I suggest that you flush the rads at the same time. Don't forget to add the inhibitor at the end.

24kw for heating is alot, could probably do a new 5 bed house quite easily
