Hello there guys,

We've recently discovered (after a drop of water hit my brother on the head!), that a cold water copper pipe is sweating. We thought it might be a leak but have only seen droplets of water on the pipework and after some research have deciphered that the pipe is sweating. The pipe is situated in our basement and we have a pump on that removes the water from the walls and are pretty sure its the humidity in the basement that is causing the sweating.
Apart from now using foam pipe tubing (as supposed to the old fibreglass insulation that's been used and was dripping wet), is there any other advice anyone can give please? Perhaps a decent foam tubing brand? Any help would be grand, please. Thank you, Rik.

Cool, thank you so much, appreciate it, will look into this!
My mum (she's 65) is pretty worried about this, so this will help!

Make sure there’s no overflowing /. Constantly running toilets or dripping taps etc
