Hi, iv recently signed up for the Trade 4 trade skills.

I have an NVQ2 and 3years previous experience.

Iv been out of plumbing for a year now in another job, but in now want to get back into it. I signed up for the cource the other day when a sales man come to my house. I explained my situation and said that ' I have previous experience'. The problem was that for the previous 2years i have not been able to get a apprenticeships or a plumbing placment and futher my qulification and NVQ3.

My problem is if i dont have the hands on experience while doing this cource is there any point doing it?

welcome firstly.

in mho. why go backwards and why do you feel you need an nvq3?.
t4t cant supply you with this, as you should know only site work gets you the nvq and a training center cannot but only offer you a refreasher and take your money?.
get some c.v's out or work for yourself to get back into the swing of things starting slowley to within your scope to start.
good luck.
