Hi I am lucky to have a chance at a new build - Now at Radon barrier stage and considering putting in first fixings myself but first need some advice on whats involved - Dormer Bungalow.

Manifold system new to me (DIYer)

Does a central heating circuit have its own manifold and each bathroom / kitchen also have its own maniflod

Can plastic pipes just be tacked down to insulation

Whats distance from finished wall surface should pipes exit floor

Will pipes bend to desired tight right angle or do I need a certain tool

( large 2 bed bungalow with room for two additional bedrooms in roof space )

Any diagrams / tips would be great - general info .. will have log stove gravity fed system (free timber) solar at latter date and, A Well is supplying mains water and oil supply optional backup.

Best bet is to go on the Hepworth site and see their recommendations. Basically manifolds are a poesy name for a row of tee pieces and the circuities are just flow and returns without a rad.

Anyway all the sales hype and training course talk, makes you think its hard, it isn't. If you can read and use a hammer, cutter, drill, spanner and screwdriver you can do the physical side of modern Plumbing. The rest is book work plus calculations and experience.
