Hi All,

First off I would not be doing this work but would be just extra pair of hands, just get that out the way before someone screams unvented or gas qualified!!!

Have a customer with an old gravity fed system, old asbestos tank! He wants it gone and the tanks removed. (Tank would obviously be taken by a licensed contractor.) Older Potterton boiler which he would prefer not to change as it works fine.

Ideally he wants a megaflo, trouble is whilst incoming mains pressure is roughly 3 bar the flow is awful at 12.5 litres per minute! Megaflo needs 20 lpm I believe. He would have the same problem I presume with a combi if he went the boiler route.

I am just looking first off for a little advice and experience in this one. Anybody have any suggestions as to a way forward. He definitely doesn't want to keep the gravity fed system.

Thanks
Gav
