Hi all,

Missus has decided to upgrade the shower to one with a rainfall head, and so naturally it's another job added to the list for me

I'm trying to work out how much change to the existing pipe work I'm going to need to do, and would be grateful for any advice. Currently it's a power shower (some Mira model) with 15mm pipe from CWST and 15mm tee'd from the hot water tank out-let, and wondering whether this all needs to be replaced as most pumps seem to recommend 22mm supply.

Thinking my options might be:
1. Find a pump with 15mm connectors, use existing pipework and cross fingers!
2a. Is it possible to use existing 15mm cold water tank out-let and add 15->22 adapter then run 22 to pump?
2b. Similar change to hot water tee, perhaps replace with a 22?
3. Install new 22 out-let and pipe from CW, plus add a flange out-let to HW tank

Hope that makes sense, and thanks in advance for your time.

I quite like the Mira digital showers for ease of install and quiet operation.
A slick bit of kit but at prob £700 for mode version you need to be sure you'll be getting a good return of brownie points from the Mrs!
