Morning guys. I have not done many vertical flue installs and am wondering what's the best way to run this flue to get the correct distance from the chimney pots. So it looks like I need to be 1200mm away from them. Is this even with the flue's not in use? Or is there a cap I can put on these If they are not in use.

Unfortunately there is no where else for the boiler to go.

You changing the boiler muts ?

Can't you go straight out through the boxing ? With a plume kit of course

I believe the boxing is actually the chimney breast which the conversion has been built around?

Maybe you are correct. I could use a couple of elbows and go around the chimney and out by the window and then use a plume kit with extension to run along the soffit and terminate. No need for a roofer then either

Made a right cock up today. Thought my acs expired on 9 may and just checked documents and it is the 9th of march. Eek!!! What a numb skull. Can I still do gas work on the 9th of March? The final day

Yes you have till the end of the day

Another question, how London do you have once your gas safe registration has expired to re register before being classed as a new guy? Cannot seem to find it on the site

You would have to speak to them on that (gas safe) but I think it's less than 6 months

Thanks Shaun. I was hoping it was longer than a month as I don't want to have to pay full wack again

Is it possible to use a mcapline boss connector on the boss section of this tee if I remove what is left of boss connector? I really don't want to have to break all the boxing out and put a new tee piece in to be honest 20170307_114258.jpg

No shame someone cut the boss off

So you don't think I could file old parts off to tee and then cut this Screenshot_2017-03-08-06-26-37.jpgin but 10mm over to the left a bit

Don't think it would work tbh

Can you put a glue-in or strap-on boss on the black soil coming in horizontally?
