Friends

Can you help with this one please?

Tenant complains the toilet flush is now hard to push and doesn't always work.

Vanity unit with front button.

It's an air tube.

Everytime (99%) it flushes for me.

She said it used to be so much easier to push.

I think it's ok but she want it changed.

The siphon is all in the vanity unit.

The air hose goes in the top if the toilet and attaches to the siphon.

I've never dealt with one!

I'll try & attach a pic I took ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398443883.346533.jpg

That from the top.

Cheers

Tell her it's working fine if its working fine.

It's the hardest conversation to have though.

Im im forever telling customers that their room stats are working fine, they don't like it because they want a shiny new one. But I'm not wasting my time swapping things over that don't need it.

Yes, it flushes ok when I do it. Now her sons invoiced and his daughter!

It's the 2nd time I've been there.

Can I ask, the rubber air line is very long. Can this be cut to size or will this affect the performance?

It's probably 3 times longer than it could be to get to where it attaches.

Thx for the reply.

The bellows are underneath that white plastic frame, they can be replaced easily

It is a Geberit fitted one last week , you can cut air hose down but as said order new bellows should only take 10mins to replace.

Yes, it has bellows.

Thank you do much. The bellows have a clip on them to clip to the top if the siphon and when the air is applied it pushes the siphon down.

How do you change it? It's very difficult to get at.

So, does it matter how long the rubber tube is? This one is at least 3 times too long. It snakes about.

Yeah, I could see it, I think it's glued in. I'll buy the part & replace.

I'll update. Thank everyone.

Remember there are bellows inside the push button aswell as the bellows that raise the flush mechanism, very easy to test if u disconnect the hose.
