Not firing on this one. Fan runs and aps light goes out, so all good there. No sparking or power to gv, got 240v going to ignition board. Electrodes were out of shape but moving them made no difference. MI's say replace ignition board, always a tad worried on board replacements just in case!!

Thermistors and overheat tested ok
 
Does sound like board, quite an old boiler though? I tend to find the Alpha part prices are a good way of talking the cust into a new boiler! :)
 
Tried that, they want the repair done the buy some time to save up! Expensive board right enough...
 
Give the orange relay on the Ig PCB a "technical tap" with the screwdriver handle, make sure the customer is out of the way, otherwise, they won't want it replacing and they will start tapping it.
