Been back to this today with aps but one supplied was faulty .boiler works with inner cover off put it back on and it stops .cleaned the Venturi and checked the flue and aps tubes .removed the aps tube from the aps and turned boiler on fan runs but does not to be much suction on the tube it will just about hold an inch piece of paper when placed on the end of the tube. Alpha say they have no vacuum value for this going back tomorrow with replacement aps

I'm guessing it's near a main road/ bus route no?

And I'm guessing you didn't remove fan and clean the cups, bit of soapy water in an atomiser carefully sprayed in gentle clean with paint brush bit of 3in1 down the spindle pop it back in check the sealing clamp on the flue job done.....usually

APS will cure it, make sure the Venturi pipe is clear.

fitted the new supplied sealed aps so will so far so good
