Come across this today it's the bottom connection on the diverter is it in 2 parts. And what are they like to do

It's an alpha it will **** everywhere once you repair it

You have 2 screws holding the manifold to the adapter and then diverted valve.

The screws will either round off or shear off, if they only round off you can remove the diverted and manifold and get some grips or pliers on them. Or you can wiggle the diverted out and then grease up and push new one in without undoing the screws and then when you put it back wedge it in with a bit of copper between the phex and the combustion chamber lol. I have seen that a few times on the HA I used to work for.

They are a pain in the bum to do and I have done loads. Make sure you get a regin diverted valve fibre washer pack.

Changed loads of diaphragms on them, isolate boiler pump out (wiggle wiggle) couple of bolts and out!

That does look a bit rough though mate.

Is the intex a Straight swap for this boiler existing is vert flue and Rear top piped.

Only ever fitted 2 alphas. Intec with pipping frame would this give 215 to flue centre. As can't see any info in Intec manual

Thinking duotec that's 145 mm with rear space frame poss give me 205 may get away with that is rear frame 40 or 60

would be a good choice boiler alone
