I have an Alpha CB24X combi boiler. When the CH is turned on the pressure rises above 3 bar and (quite rightly) the pressure releif valve operates dumping CH water out through the overflow outlet. The boiler then seems to realise it has over pressurised, stops heating and the pressure drops. When the pressure gets down to around 2.5 bar the boiler kicks in again repeating the process until it finds an equilibrium.

When the CH is turned off completely the pressure drops below 0.75 bar and the boiler shuts down. I then have to repressurise the system for it to work again. I have to do this everytime the CH system is used!

Thank you for any ideas you might have for me to fix this problem.
