Ok can anyone shed any light on this.
It's an intermittent problem I've got with my alpha he cb33 condensing combi.
In January it started tripping the rcd on the main fuseboard. Gave alpha a call to send engineer out to resolve the problem.
He noticed the flue stat was sparking out on statup. So new flue stat installed.
3 weeks later and rcd kept tripping still. Called alpha again but when engineer got here it would not trip out however much he tried to get it to trip. Still was doing it so engineer came back and checked flue stat again. No problem with it.
The flue is clear and clean with no signs of condensation or water back into the boiler internals. Nothing in the secondary heat exchanger and the internal casings are free of rot as us the flue.
Last week he came back and changed the fan and also the air pressure sensor Thing for new. This worked for 4 days and tonight it's yet again tripped the rcd.
Pumps fine and it's recently had a new diverter valve and micro switch.
To be honest the only part not been replaced is the pcb as the engineer said it should trip the on board fuse rather than the rcd in the fuseboard.
I need hot water as my wife isn't well and needs heating and baths. And this is so unreliable as it hasn't got a pattern to it due to sometimes it's fine and other times it just keeps happening.
Any ideas as I am going to go mental soon as I can't carry on without heating and hot water.

Dan
