Changing diverter valve tomorrow after trying to rebuild it with the valve kit, as access was impossible.
Have made client remove all boxing by right hand side which even stopped me getting the case off, any hints or tips that make this as easy as possible.

Sell them a new boiler!,

Replace all the seals when changing over the dv.

Ha ha, best advice offered.

What a ball ache of a job, but got it done in the end did replace as many o rings and washers as possible cleaned up and lubed others.

Ran it up and tested and the right hand heating isolation valve is dripping, no problem just nip a bit more. Still leaking, ok loosen off and check alignment all good except still leaking. Strip valve out again as it is leaking through shaft, so had to alter pipe work and put a full bore butterfly valve on.

Fired it up and all working. Going back tomorrow to change ignition and flame sensing electrodes, as it is getting boxed in again.

Apart from about four cuts and gouges on my right hand, a sense of relief and achievement.
