Not sure where to post this thread, its more of a small piece of advice than anything else. I always spend time reading the threads on this website and I'd advise all new plumbers to do the same.......

A few weeks ago I was following a thread about placing drain valves on the outside of houses. Something I never would have thought about.

Today, I had to sort out a small heating problem, there was no visible drain valve on any of the rads. I had a look outside and just by the back door there were two drain valves.

I smiled to myself, the customer then praised my detective abilities and said most people never find them.:D

Whoever started that thread, thanks. I felt quite chuffed.....:D

thats what the whole idea of the forum is i think!
theres always something here, everybody learns stuff.
