Evening all,
How do you deal with unaccessable flue test points.
Normally I'll just test from outside but I looked at a boiler with a plume kit fitted.
The boiler was in a kitchen cupboard with a side exit flue which meant that i couldn't get the probe in the test point.
I've looked on Kanes web site but couldn't see any sort of short probe.
Is there an acceptable way of improvising?

If you have water U gauge with rubber hose of decent length then cut
off 8 or 9 inches and push over end of probe.

Put into test point and pack around with a bit of tissue to exclude air.

Also use this method on Isar and Icos boilers except push over test
point.

Thanks fellas,
I'll use a length of rubber hose
I'm going to see if i can get my hands on a short length of 6mm pipe then at least i can use the cone from my probe to sit in the test point

if its threaded use a flexi kane make a flexiable probe
