Hi all
After being a pharmacy technician for most of my working life i've decided on a trade for a new career and plumbing is it (I have two tradesman in my family and should've done it to start with but hey ho!). My training package supplied by the infamous t4ts is far from perfect but is a case of making the best of a dire situation (with regards to finding hands on apprenticeshiplike training). I DO understand the importance of a hands on training schedule when it comes to learning a trade and will be doing all in my power to achieve a good practical portfolio hopefully one with which i can be proud of and one which will impress my future peers. I know how some feel about these 'backdoor qualifications' but as it is my intention to be a plumber of good standing and not bring the profession into disrepute your help and support will go further than you derision.
I'm hoping to use the nvq3 with t4ts as a stepping stone with the option of taking other important qualifications alongside if necessary.
Lastly if anyone out there (preferably with at least an nvq3) fancies a trainee for a few months...you got one...!😀
In the meantime i'm up for some laughs.
Andy
