Need to move 10mm rad pipes tomorrow, ive taken the rad off but now need to repostion it, its a combi boiler.
what would be the best way to go about this? is it true that with combi's i dont have to drain the whole system down? just that pipe run???
am i correct in thinking that i would need to turn the mains off before draining down?
😕thanks in advance.

The system should already be isolated i.e. the filling loop turned off and disconnected. Just check that, then take the pressure off the system by opening a rad vent or open the safety valve on the boiler. Hope that helps😕

me thinks you need to drain down completely or youll ruin your carpets!!!! dont always believe what you read in forums!

Do not drain down by using the prv, they are very liable to failing as any dirt can catch in the seal and ruin it, drain down via docs
