If you mean ccts in Belfast
Good bunch of lads ricky is a first class instructor

I've always had Gerry running the course but yeah, top place.

Better than SGAS imho.

Do you mean CTS Group, I just finished my training with them, I did an introduction to gas course and a portfolio builder as well. took my Acs last week and passed just waiting for my photo id card, already on the gas safe register website 521814.
I was a cat 3 entrant and took CCN1, CPa1 and 5 appliances at UK energy training near Chester. No problem recommending them

I am thinking of using their portfolio building and assessment service, be interested in more independent feedback on how the service works.

CTS highly recommended, bit expensive though

My advice is don't waste your money I did and I regretted it you will pay around 5 grand for some bloke to come out 5 or 6 times to your house and talk gas gas gas then your given a load of home learning courses and exams to take ? ? the portfolio is him taking pictures and uploading them to a file base for your entry to acs exams I passed then once I was in the field and got stuck and asked him questions either no reply or was told to find the answer my self???the after service is rubbish they are only interested in themselves if you are interested in becoming gas safe then Do It right either an aprentiship or nvq dont waste your time or money you need loads of hands on experience to become gas safe not a quick fix scheme like this one

From what i read about some of these training courses,i must have lost my way ! If someone is going to bung me 5 grand, I would certainly train them !

Maybe some of us long term time served chaps should set up a real training organisation which would equip people to be confident and competent in the real world instead of rubber stamping mediocrity for profit.

Why? There is a lack of work and in my opinion, things are only going to get worse.
