Hi,

Looking to take on a gas engineer in the Dorset area full time.

Must have min of CCN1 and CENWAT. (qualified for boilers and have domestig natural gas safety). These must be at least 12 months in date.

Main role will include servicing breakdowns and gas safety checks but you will also be required to do the odd boiler install when the other guys are busy.

You will be working as part of a friendly team who will always help you out if you get stuck on a job etc.

We have a good reputation in the area and you will have to take pride in your work and make sure you do your very best.

You will need to turn up on time to work and ensure you keep the customers happy by doing a good job and being polite etc.

Company van/phone/uniform supplied.

Overtime available.

Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.

Please note we are not looking for a sub contractor. Only apply if you have the relevant qualifications and are looking for a full time job.

Feel free to PM me for my email address or contact details.

Great oppertunity for someone and in a loverly part of the World..regards turnpin:)

I have put an add on job centre website, gumtree and freeads. Its a serious job oppourtunity so if anyone is intrested please call / PM me or email CV to southcoastboilerservices.co.uk

So glad you are doing well mate! Long may it continue. If you venture into Hampshire I'm available at he right price!

Not really ! I do come back here but don't post much just spent time reading and clicking on the likes :)

Oh if only my apprentiship was awarded and you was silly enough to take me on....would move and everything.

I think it gets awarded in september at the latest.
already have the acs done and dusted months ago.

Sadly my experiance has been hinded by being used a delivery driver and labourer in my normal job *sad face*
most of it comes from working evening and weekends for other engineers.

I am sure you will get there with motavation like that. Unfortunately I am looking for someone with gas safe quals and can do boiler breakdowns but good luck!

Can't believe you haven't found anyone. Thought somebody would have snatched your hand off pretty sharpish.

Eee i'll have plenty of quals without the experience. *sad face*

I think i need another year after this before I'm up to scratch to apply for jobs.

it might pay to give steve willis training at portsmouth a ring and ask if they could print off a flyer and display it for you.

im at the brighton campus tomorrow doing commercial if youd like me to ask?
Pretty sure they wouldent mind.

I know! I have interviewed 2 people so far but they were not good enough, not lookng for perfection but one of the guys was gas safe and he didnt know how to do a tightness test, were the inlet point on a gas valve was or why there are two flue analyser points on a boiler. Oh and I nearly forgot......to test for a blockage you apparantly have to turn on the boiler and open the radiator bleeds. If no water comes out there is a blockage.
