Apprentice Recruitment Companies?

Hi

Does anyone know if there are any recruitment agencies that find employers for apprentices?? If so does anyone know any around the Herts or London Area??

sorry mate think youll strugle to find an agency for apprenticeships, have you applied for many jobs, wrote to any phoned any???

Yes done the usual, been through the yellow pages, applied to all the councils, left adverts in the plumbing shops.
Unfortunatly not having much luck!
do you know of any specialist colleges that match you to employers??
 
sometimes you just have to start all over again. maybee even 3 or 4 times untill one day the timing is right for that company.
may allready have missed an opertunity where someone else sent their details a month behind yours and got a job.
all in the timing.
try following up your circular applications by calling them a week later and asking 'did you recieve my c.v.?.' then call each week after, they may get knarked of with you but you will get a job when one exists through persaveirance.

p.s. i hope your applications are a lot smarter than the crap i recieve each week, wonky photo copies.

i knew somebody who sent over 200 self addressed envolopes to plumbing companies with cv etc, he got 2 replys neither of which offering a job

Yes very true. its a slow hard working process finding an apprenticeship but im sure it will be well worth it when im fully qualified and doing something I enjoy!!
I will back track this week and chase everyone up!
Cheers for the advice (and ill stop sending out those wonky photo copies!!)
