Apprentiship or training required

Hi,
I have decided that I wish to retrain to become a plumber/heating engineer. I've had a career in Facilities and Op's Management and before that in electronic security. The reason for the change is that I have renovated numerous properties and enjoyed doing the practical side of things, especially the plumbing elements. Plus sitting in an office all day pouring over spreadsheets and contracts bores me!
After reading a lot of advice on this forum I have decided not to look at the short course route and have the ability to take a low wage whilst training. At 37 I may be older than the average entrant to this but, having employed so many trades people in my work life, I know I can offer the right work ethic and I do understand a lot about the working world

I live In North Warwickshire, so could take on anything in the Midlands area.

Why not a commercial sanitary tech ?

if you have a background in facilities why not go down the commericial route as a lot of the main players are FM companies.

find out who the local guys are in your area and give them a call...
