appropriate fitting for bath filler tap

Hi, i have two bath filler tap valves to pipe to the combined bath filler/drain. The valve body is external 3/4 inch thread with an internal 1/2 inch thread (see picture). Straight tap connector doesn't seem the correct fitting due to internal thread and a male adaptor doesn't sit flush as it's not a finished flange.
Are these only designed for flexible pipe connections?

Either 1/2 male iron or 3/4 female irons

thanks. wasn't impressed with the male fitment as didn't fully seat, so questioned suitability. probably poor valve finish, so may revert to the female option or very good sealing on the male.

Depending on the size of bath and flow rate available; definitely 3/4” FI and 22mm copper if gravity, could do 1/2“ MI 15mm pipe if you have high pressure system.
