When I was an apprentice I installed aquatherm for the mains and the risers, this was done with the evidence along with long write ups to accompany them only to be told that it was heating & vent and not plumbing & heating requiring me to sought evidence of a bathroom and radiators install.

what do you think?

Your NVQ verifier is probable correct, if you were on the C&G 6089 or the 6189 these are domestic plumbing & heating qualifications.

The assessment criteria is therefore based around domestic installations, bathrooms are the easiest way to gather the required evidence but you can do WC's, basins and the like.
