Why not put a tower replacement head on anyway? available from your local trade-only independent merchant.

Assuming its 22mm, not much saving - about £8 + VAT cheaper for head only than for complete valve. If its 28mm then the saving is more significant.

Honeywell are the only mvs i'll fit. Fitted a few draytons and found them to be crap. Leak from the valves.

honey well i'll replace the head, if the valve has to be swapped I go for danfoss. maybe because I get their heat packs cheap.......
