I'm trying to find the makers of some radiators that I recall from the 1980s. The whole front panel was a grille/ expanded mesh front (one piece of metal, grille cut into it). I think they used less water than the standard rads of the day, and they warmed rooms really quickly. The front grilles directed the hot air downwards towards the floor and out horizontally into the room, rather than upwards. Just what I need for the country house with stone floor I have moved to. I had them in 2 houses, until late 80s, but now can't remember who made them, and would love to source them again.
