hi all looking for some advice on the above boiler i was called to property with hot water problem, customer said last person had changed the aps on it, when i tried bolier it worked fine then i tried again and nothing the light on the microswitch inside boiler did not light only lite when i knocked water off and on quickly on kitchen tap there as been no fault code coming on boiler at all ?? some advice would be grateful thanks:smiley2:
 
The only way i get onto it is to go on the forum page, click on gassafe register one then click on the private gsr forum sub thread.. Long winded but i am thick.
 
not sure about those boilers, is it a standard diverter valve with a pin and micro switch attached.? if so it sounds like the diaphragm is knacked or the pins sticking. if its easy change the diaphragm if not price for a diverter, if thats the case.

Nah these don't have a diaphragm for the h/w. I believe there is a turbine which rotates a little magnet which activates a sensor, the turbine is probably buggered. Unless I'm thinking of the wrong boiler?
