Can anyone shed some light on what the 3 No unlabeled connections are for on an Ariston Aquabrave ITSI unvented cylinder?
I am prevented from posting an image of the cylinder here or even a link to a photo which I'm sure is as frustrating for you as it is for me.

The cylinder is being fitted tomorrow and neither the installer or Ariston seem to know what they are and what they're for! If they're redundant for whatever reason surely they must contribute to heat loss?

For the record, all other connections are physically labeled on the cylinder (coil 1 flow, coil 1 return, coil 2 flow, coil 2 return, hot water inlet, hot water outlet and pressure/temperature relief outlet).

Thank you.

Let your G3 worry, unless you are G3 in which case we need a copy of your cert.

presumably they don't give any access to the inside of the cylinder, i.e. the bottom of the threaded hole is blanked off?

If so, I would guess that they are used to hold hooks or ring bolts for transporting the cylinders round the factory on an overhead conveyor system during the manufacturing process.

getting a bit ocd over heat loss fm a few ports, if your that worried buy a can of crazy foam to cover them up

It's a glass lined turd! But the ports are used in some instances to reduice dead legs and stratification but 3G Giza will know
