Ariston Clas HE 24.... Help!!!

Evening all

went to look at the above boiler tonight which keeps cutting out with a 5 P3 error code. Hit reset and works fine for another 5-10 mins.

When I tested water was fluctuating hot and cold so I was leaning toward plate hex but I'm stuffed if I can find this 5 P3 code anywhere to verify this. I never come across Ariston normally and think this is the only one on my patch.

Any help appreciated!

If plate was blocked boiler would ramp up as normal taps go scalding then boiler overheats. Taps go cold.

Error code "5" is ignition related. The "P3" denotes has attempt to ignite twice (P1 then P2) and the third fail (P3) has went to lock out.
Would be looking at electrodes etc in first instance.
